Post-Quantum Cryptography

Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) is the next generation of encryption designed to protect data and communications from the power of future quantum computers. Traditional cryptographic methods can be broken by quantum attacks, putting long-term sensitive information at risk. PQC replaces these vulnerable algorithms with quantum-resistant cryptography that remains secure even as quantum computing continues to advance.

One of the main reasons to use PQC technology is the threat of “harvest now, decrypt later” attacks, where encrypted data is captured today and stored with the intent to decrypt it in the future, once quantum capabilities mature. PQC eliminates this vulnerability by securing data today against rapidly evolving quantum threats, enabling long-term protection, regulatory compliance, and future-proofing across networks, devices, and communications.

Both the Librem PQC Comms Server and the Librem PQC Encryptor deliver NIST standard FIPS 203 post-quantum security through hardened designs that integrate seamlessly into existing networks. Each device generates and safeguards cryptographic keys, ensuring full key ownership and eliminating shared-secret risks. Built on reliable enterprise-class hardware, they provide drop-in, quantum-safe protection for mission critical communications and high-speed data links, future-proofing both endpoints and network infrastructure against quantum threats.

PQC Comms Server

The PQC Comms server is a fully self-hosted communication platform designed to deliver quantum-safe messaging and data protection across laptops, tablets, and phones. Built on NIST-standard post-quantum cryptography, it enables operation of a private, network-agnostic secure communications with complete control over devices.

PQC Encryptor

The PQC Encryptor is a high-speed, point-to-point data-in-transit(DIT) encryption device designed to secure network links with NIST-standard post-quantum cryptography. Available in 10Gbps, 100Gbps, and 400Gbps, it installs at each end of a connection to provide drop-in, quantum-safe upgrades for existing network infrastructure.

Using ML-KEM key exchange and AES-256 to protect the data, complete key ownership eliminates shared-key exposure Built on Ciena 3926 hardware, the PQC Encryptor delivers reliable, future-proof data protection for organizations that need long-term, quantum-safe security across their critical links.
